German Chancellor Angela Merkel says her government WILL provide financial support for Greece -- if it meets certain preconditions. In the face of criticism by other Eurozone countries, Merkel said she would not stand in the way of a rescue package, IF Greece works with the European Commission and the International Monetary Fund to devise a credible and stringent plan for getting its finances under control.
